what comes after

Days after we found the note

what was left behind –

transformed to seafoam thoughts

dissipated in water

salty mist –

lapping waves

infest my mouth –

sky stacked like canyons

astral project –

ocean’s center

darkness below –

a deep has no end

air escapes

time gone –

put her back

put me back

together –

weightless and empty

my arms carve angels against the waves.
